Getting here is easy

Whether you come by bus, train, or car, Preston is easily accessible

By Bus

Preston is well served by buses, to and from its famous brutalist bus station. Whether you're travelling from within the city and its suburbs, or from further afield, Preston enjoys services from Blackburn, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Penwortham and beyond.

By Train

Preston's station is the busiest and best connected in Lancashire, sitting on the West Coast Mainline and acting as a hub that connects travellers to the east and west too. You can be here in under 10 minutes if journeying from Leyland, 15 minutes if travelling from Chorley or Lancaster, and 25-30 minutes if coming from Blackburn or Blackpool.

By Car

Preston sits at the heart of major road and motorway networks. The A59 connects the city to Southport to the west, and Blackburn to the east, whilst the A6, M6, and M61 facilitate north-to-south journeys. The M65 connects Preston to east Lancashire towns as far away as Burnley, with the A583 and M55 providing direct routes between Preston and Blackpool. Better still, there's FREE parking at a host of sites across the city.
