The city officially kicks off the celebrations with its dazzling Christmas Lights Switch-On. This much-loved event is a highlight of the year, bringing thousands to the city centre to enjoy live music, entertainment, and a joyous countdown to that magical moment. Expect festive cheer and an electric atmosphere as a team of top-class performers and special guests entertain the crowds, before the lights are lit!

Why not do some shopping, get a drink and bite to eat, maybe see a film, go bowling, or visit the newly reopened Harris Museum? There's lots to do in Lancashire's official Christmas Capital! Parking is free from 1pm at selected locations on Saturday 22nd November. Just remember to dress for the weather and wrap up warm.
